This paper presents cost effective and efficient brushless DC motor driven solar PV array employs zeta converter fed water pumping system. This paper also present the dynamic simulation model for a zeta converter in discontinues current mode (DCM) for either step up or step down. Zeta converter is used to extract the maximum power. Thus, maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm is required to improve energy efficiency of PV array system. It is an experimental evaluation of incremental conductance (INC-MPPT).Which offers soft starting of BLDC motor. The speed of BLDC motor is controlled by a variable DC link voltage of VSI through PIC controller. This paper proposed elimination of current sensor and high frequency switching to avoid power losses. This module is designed and simulated in MATLAB/Simulink and it gives various performances under the practical operating condition.
